Bespoke blankets - Baby Emily
A friend from work is having a baby girl. I had a feeling she would want something a bit more glam than I usually make, so I picked up some tips to make a suitably elegant present for her imminent arrival.
Eleri's blanket
Made for one of my favourite people, another large, bright quilt full of African prints, fabrics her parents may recognise (ie. our old family curtains, my Dad's old shirts, etc) and some more beautiful silks and liberty print cuttings from my talented friend Ayten.
When it is this cold, the extra layer of a vest or a teddy from Ayten's collection goes a long way.
This is backed with a lightweight blanket so that it can be used in the summer too.

Sonny's Triceratops
A Birthday present for a distinguished guy?
EASY.
Approx dimensions 65 x 30 x 15 cm. Stands independently. Can be made from any fabric. This is a first attempt, so shape can only get better.

Isla Quilt
New baby quilt. Brighter, with more texture and more patterns than anyone else's baby quilt. Probably warmer. Definitely prettier. This quilt backed with red fleece.
Makes great present guys, just saying...

This is my mum's idea. These were made as presents and I have some more I need to get to...
